I dint know if u can expect to get all of those things back but contact your local Radio stations and local buisiness's run by local people. The local newstations and newspaper would also probally help you with a toy drive. The radio station could help u advertise for a car wash and bake sale you can take donations at these evets

the community is where you will find your answers

Hi, I'm fourteen and I am a volunteer at a Inland Empire (Southern California, or specifically known as San Bernardino.) Teen Organization called Operation Phoenix, I have been going there for about two months now and I love it there! You get free lunch, they have activities like Computers, Keyboards, GameCube (I donated it.), Playstation 2, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, and Pool!

But, sadly. Last Weekend it was broken into, and robbed of all of it's computers, game consoles, and the keyboards were broken. The windows need to be repaired, and everything needs to be replaced! I also accidentally left my $300 Sony Cyber-Shot camera on Thursday and now that's gone too!

So, my question is, how do I get sponsors or donations to help us in this tough time, though we have an emergency fund, all of us kids would like to help out anyway we can. We even made our own logo for a poster, "We were there when the Phoenix was at it's best, now where will we be at it's worst?"

This is the list of things we need...

10 new Dell or HP 2GB Computers
1 new pool table
1 new air hockey table
1 new ping pong table
1 Nintendo Wii w/ 5 games along with two remotes, two controllers, and two nun-chucks
1 Playstation 3 w/ 5 games along with two controllers
2 32" Flat Screen TV's (any brand)
2 Keyboards (w/ stands)
2 Gaming Headphones w/ mics (for keyboards)
1 Security System
1 Wii Fit
1 Stereo

Are there any brands that can donate these items to the Center?

Thanks for your help!

There are sites online where you can state your case and ask for donations. I have seen quite a few of these and people have raised several thousand dollars.

So do some online checking and make sure that you only sign up with the legitimate ones!

It sounds like you are asking for way more then what was stollen. Do activities that don't cost anything. Use your imaginations; run around and play outside. I don't think you're going to raise that much money.

i don't know if any brands would donate but you could hold some kind of fundraiser or bake-sale, anything like that

Beware soliciting or "fundraising!" California is one of the states that requires that all persons soliciting or fundraising for a "charity" be registered by the charitable organization with the state govt. Someone employed by the charity itself and registered as its fundraiser with the state will have to contact companies in the area.

However, you can help! Let the staff at the center know that you are willing to help whatever way you can, e.g. if they hold a bake sale, you will bake 2 dozen muffins, or if they hold a carwash, you will be a carwasher, or whatever.

Since you know how to use the internet you could create a free blog on blogger.com and post you story and needs there.

Then add a PayPal donation button. (I think you have to be over 18 to have a PayPal account but I'm not sure).

Then print your blog's url on small pieces of paper with a few words like please help us or please visit , donate etc and start sharing these papers with neighbors, friends, family etc.

This way you may collect something.
