We own our trailer, but rent the land that it is on. When we go to look for a home are we considered first time home buyers? Please help! Any realtors out there who know this answer?

Janet is correct, you are not a first time buyer, your present home counts. There are no specific types of homes excluded.

No you will not qualify for credit. The law reads you may not have owned any principal residence in the last 3 years and it specifically states mobile homes are included as a principal residence.

No, mobile homes are considered homes and count for the credit, both with previous ownership and if you were to buy one as your first.
You are not a first time buyer as you own your home. |
