We are trying to purchase a home in Arkansas with just my husband's name on the deed. The banker says AR state law is both names must be on deed but I can't find any such law. Anybody know about this?

Are there state laws that both names of married couples must go on deed to new home?

There isn't any such law, I looked, AR is not a community property state. However, if your name is on the mortgage it needs to be on the deed too.
