... you have to go overseas temporarily... Can you still collect unemployment or can it be "suspended" during the time you are overseas and then resumed? If I spend some time to volunteer overseas or work overseas can I still collect USA unemployment?

Doubtful. Generally you are required to be available for work inorder to receive benefits. Sorry.

Suspend - Yes to maybe - check with the agency
No, under these circumstances you cannot continue to collect unemployment you are not actively looking for work |
