they are legally responsible for any damage, but your insurance (owner of the car) is probably gonna be left footing the bill.

it depends on whom hit who. if the person driving you call rear-ended the other vehicle then it would be your fault but if you car was hit from behind or getting tboned it would be their fault.

its your car, your responsibility regardless of who is driving, thats why you NEVER let anyone else drive your car!!!
