Alright my uncle wants to buy a wii from me. I had his kids (my cousins) to pick out the games, remotes, nun chucks etc. My uncle is really stubborn and is a jerk. What his kids picked out turned up $250. He said that he would think about it but I really need the money so could anyone give me some suggestions on how to make sure that he buys it?

Short of threatening him with bodily harm (don't do that, just joking) you really can't make someone do anything they don't want.
Be reasonable and tell him you are counting on him, but don't expect it to happen just because you want it to.
