Put a freeze on your credit report.
I agree this is unnerving, but it's nothing to let yourself lose sleep over.
I've lived in the same house for more than 10 years and I've been getting mail and phone calls out of the blue for people who obviously don't live here.

Someone may be using your identity. Contact the credit bureaus and put a "Fraud Alert" on your credit reports,
