I've been doing clerical jobs for amost 4 years now, I got Certified in Bookkeeping by AIPB and now I am working on my ABA Certificate by ACAT....can anyone give me any advice on how to get my foot in the door for a Staff Accountant position?

Job hunting can be a tricky task in itself, especially if you're not used to it. I was having a hard time with my job hunting for the last month until I stumbled upon the site in the box below website which has some superb instruction for job hunters. After following their helpful advice for a month or so I scored myself a superb job.

You should find a job as a bookkeeper or junior accountant. Continue to take accounting courses through correspondence or go to night school and work toward your CPA designation.
