When you sell an item you usually pay an insertion fee depending on your start price. Then when you sell it, you are charged a portion of what you sell it at-
Say I sell a painting for 185.00-then I am charged-in this case-no insertion fee for my first five auctions each month but am charged a final value fee of 8.75% of what I sell it at or 20.00 if my item sells for so much it comes out to more than 20.00 at 8.75%.

5 FREE Insertion Fees every 30 days, regardless of start price of the item*
The $0.00 Insertion Fee listings will have a Final Value Fee per listing of 8.75% or $20, whichever is lower
Standard Insertion Fees and Final Value Fees apply to additional listings within the 30 day period

I understand the first and third sentence but can u explain the 2nd to me please?
