I'm trying to get a debit card, and I know for ebay, it's good to have paypal... do you pay for paypal? or is it like a free account that handles my debit card money?

Its a free account. You list your bank account or credit card #'s and decide which one you want to use. Then, when you use paypal to pay for something.........it takes it out of the primary account you choose. This way, now one gets your bank account # because everything goes through paypal.
